This book is way better than the previous editions. It explains​ thoroughly and it has questions and answers on how you suppose to ask the patient and how the patient is going to answer. It is really helpful if you have someone to practice with.

Very helpful book for the preparation of step 2 cs. Some of the questions that should be asked are very specific and by no chance I would have asked them without reading the book. Don`t forget to read the mini cases as they give you all you need to know for differential diagnosis. I also practiced with live and online study partners using this book and passed with high performance in all parts as an IMG. Good luck to everyone!

This book was probably overkill for the COMLEX PE, but I read through it quickly in addition to using the COMBANK PE videos by Dr. Kauffman. This book provides examples of the most common differentials, as well as some rare zebras that the USMLE tests but probably not the COMLEX.

Good book.. probably the best one you can buy for CS .. the cases in the back they tend to stretch on their differentials and the patient responses aren't the most realistic come test day.. but the book is good enough to pass

I love how they have organized this book! I would practice the cases by reading the questions, writing a practice note using the USMLE practice template online, then compare how my note came out from the one written in the book. Fantastic resource for CS!!

I've gleaned so much useful information from various green witch books over the years. But being a spiritual agnostic, I've struggled to relate to much of what's written around ritual and deities in those books. This book is like a breath of fresh air. Arin's message is very inclusive and can be embraced easily by those that don't necessarily relate to the Wiccan spiritual path, but feel drawn to a deeper more magical connection with nature.

I got this mainly cause the cover art. Its very beautiful and has a nice burlap texture. The book is also a wonderful read. Its very nondirected to any culture religion or tradition. Rather just a way to incorporate the power of plants in your daily routine. Its a great guide for fun things like making your own broom, incense, perfumes and medicines. It also has great practical spells and rituals they are very “down to earth”. (literally!)

Love this book! The way it written will have you feeling relaxed and ready to attune yourself with nature. Really like that it is not religion based. Love the chapters on herbal preparation and the appendices so you can educate yourself on common herbs and their uses. So easy to understand as well!

I enjoy reading this so far( got two, to give my mom one on mother’s day) It’s a beautiful book with lots of knowledge for the first time nature lover, earth conscious person, green witch or natural remedy healer, as well as the longtime experienced person. A book w/o religious presence, which I don’t mind if it did have it , but with so many diff types and views it’s nice that,,just the green witch ways are applied and talked about in a humanitarian, earth loving way. 👌🤓🌞🌵🌿🌺☮️Def recommend for a great read as well as a beautiful good priced HARD BACK book to sit around, w the cover being so lovely. I love the look, feel, and content of this book but it doesn’t go very deep. A lot of time is spent on meditating on soil, plants, crystals, etc. where I feel the space could have been better devoted to recipes or something more practical.

my favorite aspect of this book is that it is not about religion. it is about nature magick and craft. you can be of any religion to practice green witch craft. Excellent book.

This was a very enjoyable book! The author did an excellent job of describing each recipe and going into detail about all the different energies, as well as offering many different ways to accomplish your goals even if you live in a high rise apartment in the city. I also enjoyed the fact that she stressed safety and respect, something some other books of the same I have read simply do not do.It is easy to ready, well thought out, and it has me excited to try everything from making my own broom to making infused sugar and herbal bread! Whether you pursue the path of the green witch or simply enjoy growing herbs and making your own vinegar, this book should be a definite addition to your library!

Absolutely fantastic, this is the type of book that you have to read again and again to get a better understanding of it so you may apply it to your life and better yourself. The correspondence and spells are really nice, and over all the book just feels harmonious..I honestly have no other way to describe it, I read this book and I just feel at peace.

This book contains everything you have ever wanted to know (and more) that your doctor will most likely never tell you. Most doctors like to hand out pills as a fix to everything, but not Dr. Murray. He is truly concerned with health, well-being, and prevention. I know first-hand because I actually went to one of his educational seminars (which was free). He is so down to earth. This book has easy to follow plans that will help the body rid itself of candida and become healthy again. I trust what this book says because these are the same things my Holistic Physician has given me to treat my candida. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about candida/yeast/candidiasis or feels sick all the time and their doctor can't find a cause. The comprehensive inside will help you figure out what may be causing your ills and lead you to better health.

I just finished reading this book - all in one sitting! It is very easy to read. Very well organized chapters, with a summary at the end of each chapter. A lot of helpful information, not only for Candida sufferers, but for anyone wanting to maintain good health with the right vitamins/minerals and herbs. This is exactly the type of book I was looking for! I'm excited to try his method for eradicating my yeast condition! I have already learned that sugar is the food for yeast, and have removed that from my diet over the past month. I already notice a difference! And, I've been fighting chronic yeast infections for several years. I'm ready to be well, and I really believe that this book has all the information I need.

After months of doctor appointments, I was finally diagnosed with Candida. I knew nothing about candidiasis and so I started searching the web for information. I found so much varying information and most of it I didn't trust. When I found this book (...), I knew it was right. This book contains the most comprehensive, easy to understand information that I've found. The author is very thorough without going into overwhelming detail. I started following the diet and techniques almost immediately since the book gets right into problem solving. I can say my health has improved almost 100% in a very short time.

Somewhat Helpful

There are probably thousands of book about Candida on the market. For whatever reason, I chose this one. It's sadly lacking in information all of which I later found on the Internet for free. For one, it doesn't offer a suggested protocol (series of steps) to follow for the diet. For another, it doesn't offer any recommendations on dosages for the nonprescription anti-fungals. And it doesn't really go into any depth about die-off and the need to take Molybdenum prior to starting an anti-Candida regimen.

this book really helped me understand what was going on with my body. I recommend to anyone struggling with yeast issues.

Like many people who purchase these types of books, I have read and collected quite a few resources about digestive health. The information presented in this book does not seem to align with current knowledge of candida and other digestive ailments, but it's ok as a general reference (with semi-useful recommendations regarding an introductory fast, supplements, etc.). However, if you are looking for a solution for your candida troubles, there are a lot more useful resources online (i.e., whole foods approach provides good reference materials) and more evidence-based books that will be more helpful (i.e., Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschal).

Patti's new book is a real gem, and simplifies the process of creating unique faces for your cloth dolls and figures.When you're creating a doll, the face often makes the doll come alive. I love this book, it is a book for the truly creative. If you need inspiration and skills, this book is for you. The book starts off with the specific formula to use in placing features on a doll face and offers some patterns to make dolls. From there it is all about the artist in you. There is a large gallery of ideas (the entire doll, not just the face) and they are fresh, colorful, unusual and even wild. The book reviews using varied materials and methods including paints, watercolor pencils, sculpting and stiches. I have all three books in this series and they are all great!

Creative Cloth Doll Faces is delightful, inspirational and visually stimulating. It takes the idea of an art doll to a new level of elegance. The directions are easy to understand, even for a beginner. It is amazing how much diversity can be made from one basic face. Each artist gives the face his/her own creative identity. I highly recommend this book to folks who wish to get into the making of elegant art dolls. Bravo for Patti Medaris Culea for a fine tutorial that includes paints, pastels, fibers, beading, collage and sculpting techniques.

This is an edition for young people, as the cover indicates. I enjoyed reading it, having made the choice to read it with someone I am tutoring, but I loved the original book (one of my all-time favorites) even more; this one leaves some things out. Elizabeth Borton de Trevino is--or, I should say, was, as she died in 2001 in her late 90s--a delightful writer.

I bought this book for my eighth grader's homeschool curriculum. I read it first, and I absolutely loved it. It is humorous and engaging, taking the reader through old customs and traditions from provincial Mexico, and providing an interesting comparison to our culture. My daughter enjoyed it at least as much, and it's provided material for several interesting discussions, not only on Mexican traditions, but life in general. I've recommended to several people, including one of my dearest friends who is in her seventies. You will not regret purchasing this book.

This book is an autobiography of an American woman who came to Mexico on what she thought was going to be a brief assignment and ended marrying with a Mexican and staying in Mexico for the rest of her happy life. But the book is much more than this. It describes the clash between the very different cultures of Mexico and the USA which result, almost always, in hilarious situations.Almost everything described happens in Monterrey, Mexico where she lived with her husband and eventually with her children, but as she mentions in the book, the extended family is extremely important in Mexico and she got to love and respect her "Mamacita" and "Papacito" (mother and father-in-law) as much, or maybe even more, than her own parents. "To Mamacita and Papacito I dedicate this book in loving memory."The Treviño Borton family is, in my humble opinion, "every family of mankind, the archetypal family about whom all mankind is dreaming." (Quoting from a review of Finnegans Wake). As such, anyone may appreciate this book, but... for Regiomontanos (people from Monterrey) it means much more: it describes the inner workings of the social fabric in the city, it brings to life the infinite subtlety of their ways, it gives a microscopic historical view of the 1930's that you can hardly find anywhere else, it creates a deep longing for a beautiful past.I, like Borton, married with Monterrey. Her husband was Luis Treviño. My wife is Olivia Treviño and through Borton I finally understood why "the Family" is of such overwhelming importance for my wife.The interest that this book generated in me was so great that I decided to journey through Elizabeth's world... 70 years later.I have built a web site where you can see how her house, her Mamacitas house, and many other places she mentions in the book look TODAY... 70 YEARS LATER. ...Many things have changed during the years but writing from Monterrey I can say, as she once said, "I was then, as now, so safe, so happy, within that fortress - the family."

I loved this book. It was an easy read, the characters were very "real", and I learned a lot about living in Mexico. I especially found her musings about marriages in Mexico entertaining.

Ilana Mercer has a sharp wit and intellect - she's scary smart. Her first book, Into the Cannibal's Pot, is must reading for anyone who is concerned about mob rule and tyranny in the name of "political correctness" and "justice." It's actually not worth dying to be thought of as tolerant and morally superior. Read that book. The Trump Revolution is just as eye-opening. Ilana knows that "the revolution" is not about Trump the man but the feelings and ideas he has tapped into and is expressing to a large constituency for the first time in a very long time. The fact that 3 million or more people (a lot of them disaffected, disenchanted white men who pay the bills for war, welfare - both corporate and personal, and disastrous immigration policies) will get into their cars and drive to the polls on election day for the first time in 4 or more national election cycles scares a lot of people and that's why the MSM, neocons and left wing progressives too, RINOs and the establishment GOP loathe Trump. They don't want those people to vote because their non participation in the political process has helped them all retain power and siphon off money into their collective goals: foreign wars, globalism (which is not good for the "working person" or "working families"), and a feudal system they control. Whether you like Trump or not, this is an important book to read. The fact that it is addictively readable, as is Cannibal's Pot, makes it all the more worthy. Mercer's word-smithing is engaging simply from a writer's point of view. For anyone who does not understand (or scoffs at) Trump's appeal this is MUST reading - those who are on the Trump train will gain further insight into the movement that will long outlast the man himself. Recommended.

You may or may not like Donald Trump but you have to admit he's a presence on the political stage. Ilana Mercer, as usual, has illuminated the man for what he really is. He has crashed into the political class as well as the media class like a bowling ball. Dust covered pins are flying in all directions. The political establishment hates him because he won't play by their rules. The media does too for the same reason but Trump wasn't made by the media so they can't bring him down. In fact the media scramble to play by his rules because he's the biggest story out there. What is important is the people (voters) love him. Ilana Mercer clears it all up in this work. Well researched, well written, well presented. Typical Ilana. All thumbs up for this one.

Trump is smashing an enmeshed political spoils system to bits,” so opens the third book by the noted paleolibertarian - classical Liberal columnist Ilana Mercer, “The Trump Revolution: The Donald’s Creative Destruction Deconstructed.” Those familiar with the author know her as a far more relatable Ayn Rand but possessing greater heart and wit, (she even opens one of the chapters by telling a corny old Israeli joke,) or a modern-day Rothbard taking the bloated government and the neoconservatives to task daily on her blog, and this book is no exception. Constructed as a series of essays with titles such as:“Trump Could Send The System’s Sycophants Scattering,”“Making America Great Means Taking down ‘W,’”“Trump’s Good For The English Language,”and “Trump Nation Sick n’ Tired Of Racial Sadomasochism,”the books is a pretty easy, fast paced read. So people who are intimidated by giant political opuses there’s no need to fear.When Trump’s announcement that he was seeking the office of the president was unexpectedly met with enthusiasm and his place as the Republican nominee was becoming a reality, sure the politicians let out their typical hems and haws, but the people on the ground knew better. They realized that the status quo of the Leftist elite wasn’t written in stone, and that’s one of the major point of this book, because despite the title, this isn’t a fan letter, in fact early on Mercer states that Trump is likely “the best that America can hope for,” and that the “endorsement over these pages is not necessarily for the policies of Trump, but for the process of Trump.” The “process” being the dismantling of political correctness, the entire Washington establishment and most importantly the so-called “conservative movement,” who haven’t managed to conserve a damn thing other than their cheap-labor loving donors bank account. For the first time in a long time people are speaking up and speaking out against the continued erosion of the nation’s founding culture and principles, and this is due in large part to the candidacy of Donald Trump.

Most voters complain about the status quo and the state of our country. They also tend to get caught up in the talking points, and pandering, of the typical politicians dominating the two party system. The difference between most Democrats and Republicans is negligible. The similarity is deplorable, keeping themselves, and their parties, in power to the detriment of average Americans.Ilana Mercer uses her analytical mind to make a case for Donald Trump the process, not the person. I love this book! It's the only one I have as a reference as to the history of Frisbee/Frisbies. I admit, the prices in my edition (1998) are out of date--they continue to go up!I refer to this book all the time and each time I pick up something new. It's loaded with tons of great photos. It's a MUST for any Frisbee/flying disc lover.I'm disappointed in the direction Wham-o has taken lately and the quality of the product they are now producing, but the history of Frisbees and the people involved along the way make this book a must-have!One will have a much greater appreciation for those little flying discs (no matter what they're called or whose name is on them) once they have read this book.

Being an old dog, I was around for much of the late 70's, early 80's history that Victor alludes to. It was great to take this look down memory lane, as well as find a lot of new information.
