The title of this review is not too serious. However some may find the racism jokes in bad taste; I didn't have much of a problem with them except for the bus full of black people going over a cliff "joke", for some reason didn't find it remotely amusing (no matter what race). The blonde jokes were lame.I wasn't expecting brand new jokes/insults I have never heard before but most of these were played out and boring. The ones that were good would have to be studied to remember them since they were so long. The one liners were great, I know a few people who deserve them, but it would most likely make enemies.Overall It was nice to read and mostly amusing. Maybe before being around people I don't like I'll read up on a few just in case ; )

I know the book tells to only use them jokingly or if someone is really annoying. I expected a good laugh out of this book. But having been bullied in middle school, some of these still sting pretty good.... either for myself or other poor souls who would go home with hardly no self esteem left. If you are the least bit sensitive, better leave this one alone.

Some really great insults that made me laugh 😄. Insults to me can be a really funny 😄 jokes and others cannot stop laughing - and thinking up people they want to try them out on. I really Loved this short book and got some great milage on some of the jokes/insults.

A lot of insults in this book are funny. But, this book is not for everyone. Not everyone will think this book is funny and may get offend. I didn't find to much in this book I could use but I did enjoy reading the insults. I was looking more for status for Facebook but I can't use these because they really are insults!

I like to talk a bunch of crap to my friends and co-workers all the time. I have so far found at least one good insult to use on every one I have come into contact with today. It leaves them rolling their eyes at me and every one around us is just standing there laughing. Really funny jokes in here.

I found most of the insults really funny. I am planning to throw those lines (as a joke) to my friends for a good laugh. It's nice to get a good laugh once in a while. I'm glad I bumped in to this book.

I enjoyed reading the funny insults, though I have heard some of them. Worth reading & putting them to use.

This in depth rendition of the Robert F. Williams saga supplemented the little "Radio Free Dixie" book that was written in the 1960s by Williams. He had just returned home to Monroe, North Carolina from serving in the United States Military only to fight a war on the homefront.I was assigned to read this book for my 20th Century American History class in college and it's a crucial part of a non-fiction account in explaining how life was in the South during the Jim Crow laws and segregration in the 1950s until the Civil Rights movement was in full force.The author writes from his point of view in a convincing and persuasive style in order to help defend his right and others to bear arms in the South and the NRA did support his right. In his home town of Monroe, North Carolina, African Americans were subjected to horrors of abuse and their perpetrators (almost always Caucasian) would get away from law enforcement.Williams writes that he doesn't support violence with violence. I wish people that use terms like 'Saturday Night Specia;' knew the true meaning of these terms and the racist intent. I wish they knew the real origins and purposes of gun control. These people should then understand that firearms ownership is not just a 'white thing' it is an AMERICAN thing and a basic civil right of ALL CITIZENS no matter what race.Irony-- those people living in high crime areas who don't understand 'stand your ground' laws and the 'castle doctrine'and want to repeal these protections are the very people who would most benefit from them.Know your history so that you will remain a free citizen, not a slave or a subject.

It took a while for me to get it. About half way through the light went on in my mind and I realized why so many of my relationships with men didn't have the outcome I expected or wanted. Thoroughly enjoyed the insights of this quick guide to understanding male relationship dynamics. The author makes absolute sense with a no nonsense attitude and without all the extra hyped up fluff of other relationship coaches who charge a months rent for this exact information and condemn women to a life of singledom should they not choose their specific advice. I read through this in just an hour or two and the concise elaboration of key points is easily retained.

Now I just have to actually apply this advice to my current situationship . I'm just over my heart being so broken.

The title doesn't do it justice; this little book reminds women about how men think without excessively flowery verbiage or analysis... Some books are like lecture series; his skinny reads are more akin to cliff notes with flavor... Also recommend Bruce Bryan's "The 7 Irresistible Qualities Men Want In a Woman". It will all strike you as common sense AFTER you read it.

Great book. I admit respect is a learned behavior for many women. This book has made a tremendous pissitive impact on my self development and made me aware of the terrible mistakes I made in my past relationship (marriage of 20 years ). I wish I had this book while I was married. I admit women are spoiled and like to get our way and end up pushing a good guy away.

Back in 1986, before the Fiji coups which prevented Indian parties from taking power, Ronald Wright spent a month or so in Fiji and wrote this honest view of what he saw. It is well-written, it is easily-read, and it gives a kind of “one-month-in-Fiji” day by day description of an interesting place. He filled out his travel experience with some decent portions of Fijian history and 20th century politics. Somehow, though, it left this reader feeling a certain lack of depth, probably due to the fact that one month is not long enough to gather enough experience and knowledge to write more convincingly. The most informative and unusual part of the book is the section on Ocean Island or Banaba, a Micronesian island utterly devastated by a British phosphate mining company, whose inhabitants were finally resettled on a Fiji island. However, I fear that bar conversations, a few interviews, a three day walk through interior mountains, imitation of various accents in English, and a description of one’s drinks and meals are not enough. Wright skillfully described virtually every moment of his stay, making the most of every view, every conversation, but…… I’ve got to hand it to the author for giving it a shot in any case. If you ever wanted to know something about Fiji, you could do worse than read his book, but be aware that it’s only an appetizer, not the main meal. And speaking of “main meal”, I thought that he could have left out most of the constant references to former cannibalism, an attempt on his part to “spice up” the book no doubt, but reminiscent of a book on England focusing interminably on fox hunting habits or public hangings.

This was a fun book to read while traveling in Fiji. It provides a great perspective of the history of the islands complete with interesting and sometimes entertaining antecdotes of the author's travels through Fiji. The text alternates between the author's personal travel experiences and a drier (but still interesting) history of Fijian native culture and colonial influences.
