Not really rocking my world. There is a lot of "this is what I did"... but there is also a lot left out. Largely it is an infomercial for some of his websites that are supposed to really make the reader money.
I've been doing SEO and AdWords for 12 years. This Kindle book was offered for free, so there was no harm in checking it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the strategies presented in this book. This is great for newbies with Merch, but also provided advanced SEO strategies that most people don't want to share. It's a bit outdated, because Instagram is where things are now, not Pinterest as much. People steal designs on Pinterest all the time. I'd have loved to learn more about social media, but hey, for free and even a small price I give it 5 stars.
First the book is 2+ years old and a lot has changed at Merch.2nd Neil states that "No worries! eventually everyone gets accepted." This is not true, I know 4 people personally that have followed the instructions given in this book and were rejected by merch within 4 days3rd. The books real purpose is to get the reader to Neil's website to get you to pay for his software platform.4th There is a whole chapter explaining how Neil and his partner sold a Merch account which as of now and maybe then is in violation of Merch policy and is grounds for termination of your account.5th Neil explains in detail how to lie and be deceptive in setting up social media accounts under a females name so to can deceive people into coming to your shirt site. Overall this whole book as well as Amazon Merch seems to revolve around deception. I would not waste my time with this unless you are looking at how to become a social media con expert as this would be a better name for the book.
I have had my images modified three times trying to meet your requirements and they still won't upload. Why can't you use jpeg...its just ridiculous and its made me lose the Christmas shopping time. Its making me nuts trying to get these images okay for your program

Even though I've been doing some of the things suggested on my T-shirt listings there are many things suggested that I will be using to not only do that better, but even go back in and change up my existing ones.The whole section on Pinterest was great for me because I haven't really used Pinterest that well in the past.Overall, if you are looking at actually making decent money on Merch then I would follow the guidance that is offered and stick with it for the long haul.I'll be referring back to it often until I get it all down.
The purpose of this book isn’t to teach you how to sell on Merch. It’s to introduce and sell you their main product. It’s a very smart marketing tactic I’ll admit. I found the content entertaining however.What bothered me was the redundancies in the authors writing style. Proof read your writing and when finished, do it five more times. I almost got the impression the author had a predetermined amount of words he thought this should be. When finished, he was short on the goal and went back and made sentences longer than they needed to be.Probably worth two stars but I’ll leave three.
I like this book a lot, and it's packed with a lot of good stuff, like the event calendar filled with links to every day of the year, and I would really like it if the author would write a new and updated version of this subject, since a lot has happened from 2016 to 2018. The tool which is explained in this - FREE - book I haven't used or checked out, and some might say this is a promotion book for this tool, but I don't agree at all, since it's only decried as an option, among other options. And over all I'll give it 5 stars, since I gained a lot of valuable content from this FREE book.
